Making Space Open Weekend, May 2007 Review
A fantastic two days were had by all when we opened our doors for our 2nd open weekend. The event tied in with Havant Arts Trail Weekend and the Leigh Park Taster Trail. There were over 200 visitors over the two days and loads of amazing things created. A big Thank You to all who came along, joined in the fun or helped with the event.
Leigh Park Infants Cluster Project
We recently worked with 5 local infant schools to produce site specific work for their school grounds, bringing in professional makers to work with the children and create amazing sculptures and installations.
Barncroft School worked with Elizabeth Hodgson on a steel learning tree that is decorated everyday by the children.
Havant Literary Festival Saturday 27th September 10am-3pm
Making Space is the Leigh Park base for the first Havant Literary Festival. Come along and tell us your Leigh Park Stories, join in writing a massive poem in the Courtyard or maybe try your hand at book illustration or papermaking.

Stars that Sparkle Saturday 15th November
Free event 10am-3pm.
Open to all.
Come along and make a Christmas star to decorate the tree in Havant Centre and Staunton Country Park. Make a small star to sparkle on your tree at home.
